About The Position

The Human Resource Coordinator provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • Note taking skills a plus.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of human resource experience preferred.
  • Casino/gaming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino & Resort's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
  • Ensuring all internal and external guests entering Human Resources are greeted in a professional manner.
  • Answering phones in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Performing guest service functions by answering Team Member requests and questions via phone or in-person.
  • Completing Forms I-9, verifying I-9 documentation and maintaining I-9 files.
  • Performing data entry including but not limited to new hire information, transfers, dual rates, etc.
  • Assisting or preparing correspondence, scheduling meetings and interviews, and performing other projects as requested by HR management.
  • Making photocopies; mailing, scanning and emailing documents; and performing other clerical functions.
  • Filing documents into appropriate Team Member files.
  • Processing mail.
  • Recording and transcribing meeting notes upon request.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
