About The Position

The Human Resources Recruiter manages the recruitment process and the new hire onboarding experience. The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to develop effective sourcing strategies, enhance the candidate experience, and ensure timely and successful hiring outcomes. The ideal Recruiter is a proactive, relationship-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about connecting individuals to meaningful work. They bring strong sourcing and full-cycle recruitment expertise, balancing demands with a focus on quality and candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services
  • Experience in recruitment of hard-to-fill roles
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and influence hiring decisions
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and job boards
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple job openings

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop strategic recruitment plans
  • Proactively source candidates using job boards (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn), networking, and community partnerships
  • Maintain and track candidate pipelines using the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies.
  • Facilitates and executes the development of the onboarding process by setting up and conducting orientation, coordinating with IT and the hiring manager
  • Supports the offboarding process.
  • Maintains knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
  • Additional HR and office related projects as needed.
