About The Position

The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting and onboarding in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with supervisors and leadership to attract, evaluate, and hire qualified candidates for hourly and salaried positions while ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with all employment laws and company policies. The HR Recruiter plays a critical role in workforce planning, reducing time-to-fill, and supporting retention through effective onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement. This position also provides general HR support related to employee relations, performance management, and HR best practices.

Requirements

  • MUST have recruiting background and experience to be considered for this position
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of recruiting or HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, including supervisors, engineers, and production team members.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and workforce planning strategies.
  • Develop and maintain job postings across job boards, company website, and other recruiting platforms.
  • Screen applicants, conduct and coordinate onsite interviews.
  • Manage candidate pipeline and applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely updates.
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screening, and reference checks.
  • Prepare and extend job offers in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding, including orientation, paperwork completion, and system setup.
  • Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately (I-9, W-4, policy acknowledgments, etc.).
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Support retention efforts by partnering with HR and leadership on turnover trends and hiring effectiveness.
  • Assist with training coordination and follow-up for new hires and internal promotions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and generate reports from HRIS systems.
  • Support ISO/IATF and continuous improvement initiatives as related to HR processes.
  • Participate in HR projects, audits, and departmental initiatives.
  • Track and report recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, turnover, applicant flow, etc.).
  • Coordinate with supervisors on staffing needs, scheduling interviews, and hiring decisions.
  • Support employee relations matters including coaching, discipline, and terminations as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
  • Assist with performance evaluation tracking and documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with candidates, employees, and leadership at all levels.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through professional and timely interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements within the facility.
  • Support plant initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement efforts.
