About The Position

Road Runner Safety Services, a proud member of the Helix Traffic Solutions network, is seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Human Resources Associate to support payroll, recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. This role offers direct coaching, training, and mentorship from the Regional HR Director. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Prior administrative, recruiting, customer service, or business operations experience preferred.
• HRIS experience preferred (Dayforce, Workday, or similar systems).
• Learning agility, coachability, accountability, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and an interest in building knowledge and experience within Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly payroll and certified payroll processes.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee orientation activities.
• Respond to employee and manager questions regarding HR policies, payroll, and benefits.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and compliance files.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee communications.
• Support employee relations activities under the guidance of the Regional HR Director.
• Generate reports and maintain employee information within HR systems.
