By serving as a trusted, sought-after consultant, you will position HR as an essential resource. You will lead daily operations to ensure our HR processes run seamlessly-including payroll processing, benefits and administration, and recruitment. In this role, you will balance compliance with all federal, state, and local laws with a highly supportive, employee-first approach.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of HR generalist or related experience
2-year college degree or equivalent; BA preferred
Knowledge of employment laws
Knowledge of HR best practices
Strong research, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience processing payroll
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with an HRIS
Experience with benefits administration

Nice To Haves

Experience with Paylocity
General knowledge of accounting principles and GL structure

Responsibilities

Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, programs, benefits, and payroll questions.
Manage comprehensive leave of absence programs (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD) to ensure full compliance and proper documentation.
Drive the talent acquisition process by managing job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, job offers, new hire orientation, and overall onboarding experiences.
Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
Analyze metrics to update leadership on trends.
Manage monthly benefit invoice audits, funding, and vendor resolutions.
Process bi-weekly and off-cycle payroll, including timecard reviews, journal entries, and the administration of garnishments and Friend of the Court (FOC) orders.
Lead benefits administration for open enrollments and employee education.
Comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Support training coordination.
Contribute to process-improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned with a high level of punctuality and regular attendance.
