About The Position

Lowry is a Brighton, Michigan based technology company, and we’re looking for a Human Resources Manager who’s excited to build and lead a people function in a fast-moving, collaborative environment. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll shape culture, support our team, and ensure we have strong, scalable HR practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience (tech or fast-paced environment a plus)
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
• Experience using modern workplace technologies, including AI-assisted tools, to improve productivity, reporting, communication, and process efficiency.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making
• Ability to work independently and manage a broad range of responsibilities

Nice To Haves

• HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop HR strategies that support our people and business goals
• Lead full-cycle recruiting and deliver a great candidate experience
• Own onboarding, performance management, and employee development programs
• Support managers and employees with coaching, guidance, and employee relations
• Maintain and enhance HR policies, compliance, and HR operations
• Administer compensation, benefits, and HRIS processes
• Drive engagement and culture initiatives
• Coordinate payroll accuracy with Finance and manage benefits renewals
• Handle workers’ compensation, safety reporting, and other compliance needs as required
