About The Position

Jovie Nannies + Sitters, a childcare resource established in 2001, is seeking a Human Resources Manager for its Syosset - Port Washington location. The company focuses on providing families with well-trained nannies and babysitters, supported by comprehensive tools and resources. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Required
Childcare experience required
Computer and technology proficient with demonstrated aptitude using Microsoft Office or other business applications and software
Must reside on Long Island or Queens, NY
Some in office meetings in Syosset, NY required

Nice To Haves

Experience as a caregiver, nanny, or day care center teacher (including infant care) preferred
Sales and customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise and retain caregivers, including scheduling and analyzing ongoing needs.
Recruit new employees through job postings, application review, phone screens, interviews, and reference checks.
Implement the Care Giver Promise, ensuring consistent performance reviews of daily timesheets, availability updates, communication, and employee behavior.
Respond to family inquiries and manage the ongoing delivery strategy for family customers.
Co-lead the orientation and onboarding process with the placement manager.
Coordinate, run, and manage ongoing employee meet-ups, trainings, and events.
Utilize My Jovie system tools for scheduling, communication notes, order creation, and family/employee profile updates.
Assist the placement manager during peak periods to achieve bi-weekly revenue, billing, and gross margin goals, as well as hours targets.
