We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and staff development. This is a strategic leadership role focused on fostering a positive workplace culture and driving employee engagement while supporting company growth.

Requirements

8+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities.
Based in Burlington, WA, with occasional travel required.

Nice To Haves

Experience working within a union organization
HR Certification - SHRM-CP, PHR
Experience with Department of Transportation regulations and drug testing programs.
HRIS experience.

Responsibilities

Lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning.
Oversee performance management, employee development, and engagement initiatives.
Administer compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive and cost-effective.
Guide to leadership and employees on HR policies and workplace issues.
Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws.
Maintain accurate HR documentation, policies, and records.
Partner with leadership to resolve staffing challenges and employee relations issues.
Perform other related duties as required
