About The Position

One of our prestige clients, St Louis County, MO is seeking a Human Resources Manager, who will play a pivotal role in shaping their classification and compensation plan. From designing and implementing strategies to evaluating market-based data, your expertise will drive their success. This position has a competitive salary range of $65,145.60 - $118,123.20 annually. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and six years of experience in human resources; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates possessing Certified Compensation Professional designation may be given preference.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate St. Louis County's compensation and classification plan.
  • Collect and analyze data from market-based compensation surveys and comparable public agencies.
  • Review, analyze and research position descriptions to determine and approve proper allocation, as needed.
  • Analyze complex classification requests. Perform desk and field audits and perform research as necessary.
  • Collaborate with employees at various levels and provide strategic, proactive solutions related to classification and compensation practices.
  • Participate in salary surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and analyze internal pay relationships.
  • Develop and implement classification and compensation related policies for civil service, union and appointed employee groups.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Perform related work as required.
