About The Position

Under the direction of the President and CEO, and in accordance with the purpose, policies, priorities and principles of the YMCA of Central New Mexico, the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO will provide high-level administrative support with matters related to meetings, communications, community relations as well as other initiatives by the President & CEO. In addition, this position will work directly with the Corporate Board of Directors and the association’s Executive Team supporting association’s initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Computer skills in Microsoft as well as selected software platforms related to payroll, operations, fund development, and others as per the organization’s needs.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge about office processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work with integrity, confidentiality, and excellent judgement.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Innovative and forward thinker.

Responsibilities

  • Manages President & CEO’s schedule as well as other executive staff as assigned.
  • Makes travel arrangements as necessary and prepares travel expense reports.
  • Prepares monthly milage reports for the President & CEO and other executive staff as assigned.
  • Prepares and submits monthly credit card reports for the President & CEO.
  • Coordinates monthly Board Meetings as well as committee meetings operating under the Corporate umbrella.
  • Maintains computer databases and records for the Board of Directors, as well as various committees and task forces.
  • Assist President & CEO coordinate various staff, volunteer, and community meetings.
  • Prepares Non-Financial Y USA Annual Report.
  • Maintains Organizational Chart.
  • Uses discretion and independent judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information in connection to the office of the President & CEO, as well as matters pretending to the YMCA of Central New Mexico.
  • Develops/produces, distributes, and maintains official meeting minutes for matters related to the Corporate Board of Directors, committees, and task forces involving the President & CEO.
  • Coordinates annual schedules for Corporate Board of Directors meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
