Human Resources Management Development Associate
About The Position
As a Human Resources Management Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, you will be coached from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. You will explore quality assurance, safety, supply chain, engineering, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand the collaborative nature of human resource management. You'll also gain experience in developing and maintaining employee relations, training, compensation, and benefits. This is a full-time leadership developmental role that fast-tracks you to management on the manufacturing side of the business. The rotational component of the program provides a change in location, offering fresh perspectives and growth opportunities. A relocation assistance package will support each move, allowing you to focus on learning end-to-end processes, building your network, and launching your career.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline attained or expected by June 2027
- Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program
- You will start your rotation for this Human Resources MDA at the Nestlé Purina factory in Crete, Nebraska
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferred
- Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain communication with the Plant Manager, Department Managers and Team Leaders on all matters relating to and affecting factory employees
- Assist with the implementation of employee services, policies, training and programs
- Support training and learning for safety, capital projects, special projects, technical and function training
- Coordinate employees’ leave, return to work (FMLA, worker’s comp, etc.), paid time off and benefits
- Adhere to and enforce compliance of local, state and federal legislation in relation to HR policies
- Serve as a resource to all factory employees, providing exceptional customer service
