About The Position

Carrier is seeking college graduates with demonstrated leadership capability, learning agility and the desire to develop as Human Resources professionals. The Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP) is a two-year rotational program that exposes aspiring human resources leaders to Carrier’s human resource function and business segments through three, eight-month rotations. HRLPs will build capabilities through hands-on experiences in a culture that values integrity, respect, inclusion, innovation, and excellence. HRLPs will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders in an HR operating model that includes Communities of Expertise (CoEs), HR Operations and HR Business Partners. HRLPs will complete assignments in diverse functional areas of Human Resources that will accelerate their development and career progression in the function. HRLP Program Management will partner with each HRLP to develop a career path inclusive of experiences that balance individual career interests and company needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, industrial & labor relations, psychology or business.
  • Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.5 GPA.
  • Geographically mobile and have the ability to relocate for rotations.
  • Graduation date between September 2026 and June 2027.
  • Start in the Leadership Program in mid-June 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Complete assignments in diverse functional areas of Human Resources.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders in an HR operating model.
  • Experience different functional rotations which may include human resources business partner roles, total rewards, talent programs, talent acquisition and project management.
  • Participate in training and immersion experiences to supplement rotational experiences.
  • Be paired with an HR leader for mentorship throughout the program.
