Human Resources Internship-Summer 2027
About The Position
AUMOVIO is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team for Summer 2027 at our automotive manufacturing facility in New Braunfels, Texas. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while developing a broad understanding of Human Resources. The HR Intern will support a variety of Human Resources functions including employee relations, recruiting, training, employee engagement, communications, HR administration, and talent management initiatives. Through collaboration with HR professionals and business leaders, the intern will gain practical experience and exposure to real-world HR practices that support organizational success. This internship is a full-time, on-site opportunity designed to provide meaningful learning experiences and professional development. This internship position is scheduled to last 12 weeks in length from May 17, 2027-August 6, 2027.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Co-Pilot, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
- AUMOVIO will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this position now or in the future.

Responsibilities
- Support daily Human Resources operations and administrative activities.
- Assist with employee engagement, communication, and recognition programs.
- Support recruiting activities, including candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding processes.
- Assist with maintaining HR records and ensuring compliance with company policies and record retention guidelines.
- Support training and development initiatives, including preparation of training materials and coordination of learning activities.
- Help prepare HR reports, metrics, presentations, and other documentation.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related topics such as benefits, payroll, policies, and programs.
- Participate in employer branding, community engagement, and workforce development activities.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple departments to support business objectives.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
