About The Position

Reporting to the Manager, Payroll and HR Operations, the Human Resources Intern will gain broad exposure to core Human Resources functions while supporting day-to-day HR activities and strategic initiatives. This internship provides hands-on experience across the Human Resources lifecycle, including talent acquisition, HR operations, payroll and payroll tax support, HR technology systems, employee relations, leaves of absence administration, and HR compliance. The intern will collaborate with multiple HR team members to support operational priorities while learning how HR partners with the business to attract, develop, support, and retain talent.

Requirements

  • Pursuing college degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or other related field in progress.
  • Open to students starting their senior year.
  • 3.0+ GPA.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
  • Comfortable working with due dates.
  • Self-starter with a diligent work ethic and demonstrated flexibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects – individual and team-based
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with SharePoint
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting coordination activities such as job posting, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and applicant tracking system updates.
  • Support HR operations by helping maintain employee records, HR documentation, and process workflows.
  • Assist with payroll preparation activities including data validation, timekeeping review, and payroll tax documentation support.
  • Participate in HR technology initiatives including system updates, data audits, reporting, and user support.
  • Provide administrative support for employee leaves of absence, ensuring documentation and communication are completed in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
  • Assist with HR compliance initiatives including policy reviews, documentation updates, and regulatory recordkeeping.
  • Prepare materials related to HR programs, best practices, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Provide logistical support for HR meetings, training sessions, and internal events.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
