We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern for Summer 2026 to join our HR team onsite in St. Peter, MN. This full-time, paid internship offers hands-on experience supporting a wide range of HR functions, including onboarding, recruitment coordination, HR systems, records management, and employee engagement initiatives. The intern will play an active role in supporting key HR projects while gaining practical exposure to day-to-day HR operations in a professional environment.

Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in college or university in Human Resources or a related field
  • Must have completed at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher required
  • Strong interest in Human Resources, employee relations, or business administration
  • Good organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willing to learn HR systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including scheduling meetings and preparing documentation
  • Support recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews and managing candidate communications
  • Help maintain employee records in HR systems and ensure data accuracy and organization
  • Respond to basic employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Assist with updating HR documents, offer letters, and internal communications
  • Support coordination of HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities
  • Assist HR team with special projects and general administrative tasks as needed
