About The Position

Humani HR is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support HR Business Partners for multiple clients across various jurisdictions and industries. This role involves assisting clients with complex people and culture issues by finding and implementing customized solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and data analysis capabilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating HR policies and programs from scratch and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. The role offers a dynamic work experience where no two days are the same, with a primary focus on remote work, but also includes opportunities for onsite client work and local/international travel.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years in a client-facing HR support role.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience processing multiple payrolls of varied sizes across numerous jurisdictions and platforms.
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-cycle high-volume recruitment (6-10 requisitions at any given time) experience.
  • A degree or diploma in HR or related field.
  • Well-versed in respective Employment legislation, and other relevant regulations (Health and Safety, Pay Equity, Accessibility Act, Worker’s Compensation, etc.).
  • Self-motivated and the ability to be flexible to meet client needs and project deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze data, documents, reports, etc., with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to make deliverables (documents, PowerPoints, reports, etc.) client-ready.
  • A true passion for HR, staying up to date with market trends and anticipating future HR evolution.
  • Ability to work through a problem with limited information and take initiative to solve problems.
  • Strong organizational skills and efficiency in problem-solving and solution implementation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients at various organizational levels.
  • Experience with HR systems & programs including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, HRIS, and Payroll software.
  • A working knowledge of project management principles and best practices is ideal.

  • Professional HR designation (SHRM) is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to HR Business Partners, including onboarding, offboarding, general HR administration, payroll processing, employee relations, investigations, and health and safety program management.
  • Ensure all HR processes align with local employment laws and compliance standards across different jurisdictions.
  • Create and implement HR policies, handbooks, and Health and Safety programs.
  • Support HR Audits.
  • Assist with client recruitment efforts, including preparing job outlines, reviewing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, coordinating client interviews, conducting reference checks, and drafting offer letters.
  • Source candidates.
  • Review and manage client HR software updates and changes.
  • Spearhead HRIS implementation where necessary.
  • Manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other client support software.
  • Support client HR programs, including performance management processes, compensation plan analysis and design, and ad hoc requests.
  • Assist in KPI reporting and project tracking.
  • Provide onsite HR support to clients, including attending team meetings, workplace investigations, and inspections.
