About The Position

We are looking for an execution-focused and adaptable HR Generalist to join our HR team based in Mississauga. This is a hybrid role supporting both our Mississauga and Montreal locations. This role has a strong focus on recruitment, making it ideal for someone who enjoys owning the full-cycle talent acquisition process while contributing more broadly across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will act as a trusted partner to leaders and employees - supporting hiring needs, guiding employee relations, and helping deliver a strong, consistent employee experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on recruitment
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Sound judgment and ability to handle confidential information
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work full-time in Canada and be based in Ontario.

  • CHRP designation (or in progress) is an asset
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles and functions
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to define needs, draft job postings, and manage timelines
  • Pre-screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support selection decisions
  • Prepare offers, employment letters, and recruitment reports
  • Ensure a consistent and compliant recruitment process using Workday/HRIS
  • Act as a resource to managers on behavioral interviewing and hiring best practices
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes
  • Deliver a seamless and engaging onboarding experience
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide day-to-day HR support
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, legislation, and best practices
  • Support managers in addressing employee relations matters
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations
  • Support HR programs including learning & development, D&I, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Contribute to HR projects aligned with business priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and employee experience
  • Act as a change agent to support HR initiatives and organizational growth
