Position Overview The HR Generalist manages full-cycle recruiting and supports consistent, well-run people processes across the organization. This role ensures recruiting, onboarding, HR systems administration, and compliance activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards. This is a hands-on, systems-driven role that requires strong working knowledge of PEO-based HRIS platforms and ATS systems. The HR Generalist reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist
  • Experience working within a PEO HRIS environment (Rippling, Insperity, ADP Workforce Now preferred)
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience including ATS management, multi-time-zone interview scheduling, offer extension, and HRIS onboarding entry
  • Strong labor law knowledge at the state and federal level
  • Ability to partner effectively with payroll specialist to ensure accurate data submission and compliance (role does not process payroll directly)
  • High judgment and discretion when handling confidential employee information
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in ClickUp or comparable project management software
  • Proficiency in Slack and Google Workspace tools
  • Ability to use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to draft job descriptions, policies, and SOPs

Nice To Haves

  • B.A. degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience working in multi-state employment environments
  • Experience in AEC, technology, or professional services industries
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification

Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment from requisition through offer acceptance
  • Post jobs in ATS platforms and maintain structured candidate workflows
  • Schedule interviews across U.S. and international stakeholder time zones for U.S.-based hires
  • Screen resumes and support hiring managers with candidate communications
  • Draft and extend offer letters
  • Enter new hire information into HRIS system and ensure data accuracy
  • Maintain recruiting metrics, reporting, and pipeline documentation
  • Employee data entry within a PEO-based HRIS system (e.g., Rippling, Insperity, ADP Workforce Now) to include new hire information and leave management
  • Partner with payroll specialist to ensure accurate multi-state payroll data submission and compliance (role does not process payroll directly)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
  • Partner with HR Operations Lead to prepare onboarding schedules and ensure first-day readiness
  • Manage offboarding processes and documentation
  • Utilize ClickUp or comparable project management platforms to manage HR workflows and deadlines
  • Use Slack and Google Suite tools for communication and documentation
  • Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini) to develop job descriptions, HR policies, and SOPs while maintaining compliance and organizational tone
