About The Position

As part of Encore’s Talent, Culture, and People team, the Human Resources Generalist will play an important role in supporting our employees and keeping the day-to-day operations of our People function running smoothly. We’re looking for someone who is organized, approachable, comfortable navigating a wide variety of employee needs, and able to balance strong attention to detail with a people-first mindset. In a fast-growing organization like Encore, priorities can shift quickly, so this person should be comfortable jumping in, solving problems, and partnering across the business to keep things moving. This role will be primarily in-office at our Pawtucket, RI headquarters.

  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills, particularly when navigating sensitive or employee-related matters
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion

  • Experience working within a multi-state organization
  • Construction, skilled trades, field services, or a similar operational environment

  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment requirements
  • Assist with audits, compliance reporting, government filings, and employment verification requests
  • Maintain HRIS data integrity and support recurring employee data updates
