About The Position

The Temporary HR Generalist provides hands-on support across core HR functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining a positive employee experience. This role is primarily execution-focused, supporting employee relations, assisting with events, and HR operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented HR professional who can manage multiple priorities and operate with sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Experience in HR generalist or coordinator role.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, or HR operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Support intake, documentation, and follow-up on employee relations matters.
  • Assist with investigations, policy guidance, and corrective actions under HR leadership direction.
  • Ensure consistent and compliant application of HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
  • Complete data file project by moving all paper files to digital.
  • Support HR reporting, audits, and documentation needs.
  • Assist in UKG Ready conversion.
  • Assist with benefits administration during open enrollment.
  • Coordinate logistics for employee events, meetings, and engagement activities.
  • Support recognition programs, surveys, and culture initiatives.
  • Assist with HR projects such as developing HR workflows, process improvements, and system cleanup.
  • Support HR initiatives including performance cycle, engagement follow-ups, and HRIS updates as assigned.
  • Help address operational backlog and improve processes.
