About The Position

Gordon, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support the full scope of human resources operations at our Bossier City facility. Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with APS Online and APS Hire preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to source, screen, interview, and select candidates for manufacturing, technical, and administrative roles. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process and conduct effective new hire orientations and onboarding.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions and concerns. Support performance management, coaching, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes while promoting a positive, inclusive work environment.
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, leave administration (FMLA, workers’ comp, etc.), payroll support, and compensation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, update policies, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Coordinate training programs, support employee development initiatives, and help foster a culture of continual improvement.
  • Contribute to special projects such as policy development, employee engagement activities, ESOP communications, and HR metrics reporting.
