About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist supports accurate, compliant, and service-driven HR operations for an onsite, mid-level team in Roscoe, IL. This full-time role exists to keep core people processes running smoothly while providing dependable support to employees and leaders. Your day balances planned priorities with timely employee support. You may start by checking the onboarding tracker and confirming orientation schedules, then shift to coordinating interviews and preparing offer details. Midday often includes benefits follow-ups—answering enrollment questions, tracking leave documentation, or organizing COBRA/FMLA/ACA paperwork—alongside HRIS updates and file maintenance. As deadlines approach, you’ll review timecard approvals, investigate payroll variances, and document resolutions so the bi-weekly cycle stays on track. You’ll also carve out focused time for reports, audits, and policy-related documentation requests. Some days include coordinating culture-team items or supporting safety documentation and incident follow-up. When needed, you’ll communicate with other locations and plan travel to keep processes consistent.
