About The Position

We’re seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support full‑cycle HR operations and help shape a positive, high‑performance employee experience. Snowline Engineering is a state-of-the-art precision machining facility located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada just 20 minutes outside of Sacramento. Our company's objective is to provide our customers with diversity in precision machining, precision sheet metal, light to medium fabrication, and turnkey assemblies. We have been in business since 1966 and have a very diverse customer base including customers from the Aerospace, Robotics, Medical and Train industries. Our 80,000 square foot facility features the most state of the art equipment in the industry. We offer in-house training and opportunity for advancement. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience, including payroll.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn HRIS/ATS systems.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • HR certification and strong knowledge of California labor laws preferred.
  • Experience with Paylocity is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full‑cycle recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Lead new‑hire orientation and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Administer performance management and evaluation processes.
  • Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and employment laws (wage and hour, safety, and leave requirements).
  • Support benefits administration and HRIS data accuracy.
  • Assist with training, development, and change‑management initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR metrics, reporting, and recordkeeping.
  • Support initiatives that improve company culture, retention, and employee satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or otherwise identified.
