About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist supports the Home Care division within Florida and is responsible for its day-to-day HR operations. The role implements talent management strategy, including cultural development, behavioral interviewing, onboarding, and performance management. It also leads HR practices and objectives that foster an employee-oriented, high-performance culture emphasizing quality, productivity, standards, goal attainment, recruitment, and ongoing workforce development. The position requires background screening through the State of Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree.
• 1–5 years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience with HRIS and the MS Office Suite.
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is required.
• Must undergo background screening through the State of Florida's Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage HR department operations, implementing cost-control measures and meeting budget goals.
• Lead HR practices and objectives that support a high-performance, employee-oriented culture and ongoing workforce development.
• Direct the preparation and maintenance of reports needed to carry out HR functions.
• Prepare periodic management reports to track progress toward strategic goals.
• Establish and lead recruiting and hiring practices and procedures to recruit and onboard new team members.
• Partner with management to communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
• Conduct investigations.
• Monitor and advise managers and supervisors on the company's progressive discipline policy.
• Lead implementation of company safety and health programs.
• Monitor the progress of all Workers’ Compensation claims for the division.
