About The Position

This position plays a key role in supporting our employees and fostering a positive work environment. They will collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to execute HR strategies and ensure a smooth employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing support and exit.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a generalist HR role

Responsibilities

  • Supports recruitment efforts by attracting, interviewing top candidates, hiring and onboarding new hires.
  • Lead the new hire onboarding process, including new hire orientation, to ensure a seamless and engaging first-class onboarding experience.
  • Continually gathers valuable feedback to retain employees and ensure a first-class onboarding experience for future employees.
  • Oversee employee leave requests, including FMLA, STD, and company leave of absence.
  • Manage employee relations, conduct thorough and impartial investigations and maintain accurate documentation regarding employee relations to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Utilize the HRIS system to add new hires, update passwords, and maintain confidential employee information.
  • Benefits Administration: Open Enrollment, benefit elections, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), HSA enrollment.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives such as, Employee in the Spotlight, monthly newsletter and Dubow Focus Group meetings.
  • Contribute to company culture by updating the monthly slideshow with birthdays, anniversaries, and events.
  • Perform essential HR administrative tasks, including employment verifications, processing income withholdings, managing waivers, filing and other tasks as assigned.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Manage building security by providing and removing key fob access and auditing door entries upon request or as necessary.
  • Maintains personnel, medical and finance-related records and files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
