About The Position

A Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in an organization's HR department, assisting in various administrative and operational functions related to human resources. Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be Bilingual in Spanish.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience or internship in HR or the hospitality industry is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientation sessions and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Collaborate with HR team members to address and resolve employee concerns or issues.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support HR initiatives related to employee training and development programs.
  • Help employees with basic questions about benefits and facilitate communication between employees and benefits providers.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes.
