About The Position

Spectrum of Solutions is searching for a motivated and goal-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our highly respected team in the Permian Basin (Midland and Odessa) area. In this position you will be accountable for developing and implementing effective policies, programs, and processes in support of Spectrum of Solutions’ mission and goals. This includes assuring our policies are relevant and compliant and creating a safe workplace for our employees. Please note, this is not a remote position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP and/or PHR certification preferred
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving requirements (if assigned)
  • Must pass background checks and required training per state and agency guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Actively recruit top talent for continued organizational growth in collaboration with hiring managers
  • Maintain HRIS and recruiting software and systems
  • Provides oversight and support to Administrative and HR teams
  • Provides counsel and support to managers/supervisors on issues of company/HR policy application and provides HR services to team members
  • Assists with the organization's performance management process by coaching, educating, and providing feedback to managers/supervisors
  • Resolves employee relations issues, investigates, counsels, and assists in resolving disputes
  • Provide guidance on employment-related issues (such as ADA, FMLA, FLSA, harassment, discrimination, diversity, corrective action, and progressive discipline) to operations leadership
  • Provides Workers Comp claim and leave management support and guidance
  • Prepares various reports, including turnover and performance trends
  • Facilitate HR processes and programs to ensure ethical, fair, and consistent approach
  • Provide counseling and direction to employees, facilitate communication, and help resolve conflicts that impact employee engagement and morale
  • Supports proactive communications, employee relations/recognition, and appreciation programs
  • Performs other assignments as directed
