This position will be onsite. Purpose The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS and FMLA/Leave of Absence. Responsible for collaborating with and assisting the Human Resources Director on the overall administration of policies, programs, processes, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the hospital.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
• 2-3 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
• Must exhibit a professional manner as well as possess a tactful, helpful, caring attitude at all times with hospital employees.
• Must maintain confidentiality of all matters discussed, exhibit fairness and diplomacy, initiative and good judgment.
• Must have knowledge of employment laws and practices.
• Must have excellent computer skills, effective oral and written communication skills and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage and function in dynamic situations with competing projects and deadlines.
