About The Position

The Archway is Tarrant County’s only state-designated family violence program, working to end intimate partner violence. The Archway is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support across all Human Resources functions. This position plays a vital role in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, HR compliance, and employee communications while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (3) years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Experience handling confidential employee information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License required.
  • Must provide proof of current automobile liability insurance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and applicant tracking systems, preferably Jobvite and Exponent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies, procedures, and written instructions.
  • Ability to prepare routine reports, correspondence, and HR documentation accurately.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify and support the staffing needs of hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • Experience supporting employees and managers at all organizational levels preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support for all Human Resources functions.
  • Maintain employee personnel files to ensure all legally required documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Post open positions internally and externally using appropriate recruiting platforms and maintain relationships with recruitment sources.
  • Process, route, and maintain resumes, employment applications, and other hiring documentation for applicants, new hires, and terminated employees.
  • Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment, interview, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate pre-employment background checks and employment verification.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and assist with onboarding and training activities.
  • Enter and maintain accurate employee information in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Coordinate with department staff to create quarterly agency newsletter.
  • Manage job postings and applicant tracking within Jobvite and Exponent databases.
  • Assist with interpreting and explaining HR policies and procedures to employees while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assist other departments with preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
