About The Position

Richmond Community Services is seeking an HR Generalist who wants to learn every facet of Human Resources instead of being siloed into one specialty. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
Approximately 3+ years of progressive HR experience
Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
Communicates professionally and builds strong relationships
Handles confidential information with integrity
Can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Enjoys solving problems and helping employees succeed
Strong organizational and follow-through skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a unionized environment and interpreting a Collective Bargaining Agreement
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or a desire to obtain certification

Responsibilities

Full-cycle recruiting and onboarding
Employee relations coaching and problem-solving
Conducting workplace investigations

Interpreting and administering HR policies
Supporting labor relations and collective bargaining agreement (CBA) administration
HR compliance and employment law
Employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and celebrations
HR reporting, analytics, and special projects
