About The Position

FINE Entertainment Management is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Human Resources Generalist to support the Human Resources Department across multiple hospitality and entertainment venues. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administering day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, Paycom administration, leave administration, unemployment claims, compliance tracking, employee records management, and general Human Resources support. This position serves as a primary resource for employees and managers while ensuring compliance with Company policies and federal, state, and local employment laws. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, technologically proficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience administering onboarding and employee documentation.
  • Experience coordinating or administering FMLA and leave programs.
  • Experience preparing unemployment claim responses.
  • Experience using an HRIS; Paycom experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive employee information.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality, gaming, restaurant, or multi-location HR experience.
  • Knowledge of Nevada employment laws.
  • SHRM-CP, PHR, or comparable HR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all pre-employment and onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all required employment documentation.
  • Process new hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, and separations within Paycom.
  • Complete and maintain I-9 documentation, employment forms, gaming registrations, work cards, health cards, and other required licensing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee personnel files and electronic HR records.
  • Assist with employee offboarding and exit documentation.
  • Administer employee leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), personal leaves, military leave, and other protected leaves.
  • Prepare leave paperwork and employee communications.
  • Track leave eligibility, medical certifications, return-to-work dates, and required deadlines.
  • Coordinate leave documentation with employees, managers, and third-party administrators.
  • Assist with ADA accommodation documentation and the interactive process under the direction of the Senior Human Resources Manager.
  • Coordinate workers' compensation administrative paperwork and return-to-work documentation.
  • Prepare unemployment claim responses and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate unemployment hearings and maintain unemployment records.
  • Communicate with state agencies and management regarding unemployment matters.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case files.
  • Maintain accurate employee information within Paycom.
  • Audit employee records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist employees with Paycom access, password resets, and employee self-service questions.
  • Assist managers with HRIS processes and employee transactions.
  • Generate HR reports and provide data to leadership as requested.
  • Assist employees with benefit enrollment and benefit-related documentation.
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and HR programs.
  • Prepare employment verifications and HR correspondence.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, and HR appointments.
  • Maintain HR forms, templates, and department records.
  • Post employment opportunities.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling.
  • Monitor applicant workflow.
  • Prepare offer letters and onboarding communications.
  • Maintain applicant records.
  • Monitor required certifications, gaming registrations, TAM Cards, Sheriff's Cards, Health Cards, and other required licenses.
  • Track expiring certifications and notify employees and management.
  • Assist with internal audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee records and information.
  • Support the department with daily HR operations.
  • Assist with policy implementation and HR process improvements.
  • Participate in special projects and department initiatives.
  • Build positive working relationships with employees and managers while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
