About The Position

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including recruiting, interviewing, benefits and enforcing company policies and practices. Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for partnering with plant leadership to deliver a high-performance culture at all levels of plant. The HR Generalist will serve as a resource to provide customer service support to employees by responding to employee inquiries and questions. This is an onsite position in Olive Branch, MS.

Requirements

  • 3+ year of relevant HR experience (required)
  • Strong knowledge of recruiting strategies and candidate assessment techniques.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management system
  • Must be a self-directed, hands-on solid HR Generalist
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management system
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or Management or related field is preferred
  • Spanish language skills preferred
  • Manufacturing industry or warehouse experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Handling employee relations matters and providing guidance to managers on employee-related issues.
  • Responding to and resolving employee concerns.
  • Working closely with HR Manager to provide clear and concise communication of policies and procedures to ensure a customer driven environment.
  • Organizing employee engagement activities, conducting stay interviews, and promoting our culture of inclusion.
  • Generating HR reports and metrics to support business decisions and track progress towards HR goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for leave of absence and disability inquiries, leveraging HRIS and 3rd party case management vendor support to provide employee and management guidance.
  • Maintaining and updating employee records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Responding to unemployment claims and case management.
  • Preparing and processing complex HR-related documentation, such as employment documents, terminations, and promotions.
  • Assisting employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
  • Maintain and develop talent pipelines for current and future staffing needs.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews; guide hiring managers through structured interview processes.
  • Prepare and extend job offers in collaboration with leadership.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
