Human Resources Generalist
About The Position
Tutera Senior Living & Health Care is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is responsible for a wide range of human resources functions including end-to-end payroll processing, supporting human resources and operational efficiency for the agency staffing division through best practice HR practices, policies, procedures, accurate end-to-end payroll processing, administration of required state reporting, analytics, and effectively performing essential human resources functions. The position requires the candidate to reside in the Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas area and will have a hybrid work schedule with up to 5% travel as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent or combined education and experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll processing and human resources support.
- Experience owning and processing end-to-end payroll.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work with confidential employee and payroll information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact and liaison with Corporate HR for employee inquiries, addressing employee relations, policy, procedures, complaints, corrective action and other employee matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Verify hours worked, pay rates, differentials, bonuses, reimbursements, and other payroll-related information with communities in which employees are assigned.
- Maintain a calendar of recurring state and regulatory reporting requirements and assist in providing information required to expand into other states and those regulatory requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
