About The Position

Responsible for supporting the Human Resources Department in areas such as talent acquisition, talent development, onboarding, benefit administration, and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of four years of relevant experience within a manufacturing environment. In lieu of the degree, an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Previous HRIS experience
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Applicable knowledge of employment legislation and safety regulations

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activities for non-exempt and temporary positions, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, selection recommendation and offer coordination. May support exempt-level recruiting as needed.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, maintain candidate pipelines, reduce time-to-fill, and support workforce planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruiting events, job fairs, community outreach, and other talent acquisition initiatives to strengthen applicant flow and employment branding.
  • Ensure adherence to and accomplishment of Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity requirements and objectives.
  • Ensure all pre-employment drug screens, background checks, and onboarding requirements are completed prior to hire date.
  • Conduct onboarding and new hire orientation to ensure a positive employee experience and successful transition into the organization.
  • Listen, respond, investigate, and take appropriate action regarding employee and/or leadership questions, concerns, and employee relations matters.
  • Respond to day-to-day employee and leadership questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and employment practices.
  • Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of training related to employee retention, development, compliance, leadership support, and other workforce initiatives.
  • Advise and counsel team members and leaders on company policies, practices, procedures, benefits, attendance, performance, and employee relations matters.
  • In conjunction with the Safety Coordinator, assist in incident follow-up, corrective actions, and initiatives supporting workplace safety and compliance efforts.
  • Maintain HRIS (ADP) data integrity and assist with HR reporting, audits, and recordkeeping requirements.
  • Administer new and revised HR practices, policies, and procedures as required.
  • Participate in and/or lead special projects and carry out additional duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
