About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist for a full time role working in an administrative setting. As a member of the Human Resources team, the HR Generalist provides support to the HR Department. The HR Generalist will maintain and protect the confidentiality of all personnel policies and procedures, track various programs and maintain compliance, assist with professional advice and guidance to staff, be actively involved in changes to upgrade systems and processes, and assist with various HR related functions such as Leave of Absences, Benefits, New Hire Orientation and Employee relations issues, and Open Enrollment.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business or Human Resources Management or 5 years of progressively responsible experience in an personnel management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, read/analyze documents and respond effectively to sensitive issues/inquires.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current BLS/ALS certificate
  • Must pass Occupational Health Screening.
  • Must possess a valid form of identification as listed on the U.S. Department of Justice I-9 form, verified using the E Verify system.
  • Clean DMV driving record and MACT auto insurance driving eligibility (determined by auto insurance carrier).
  • The position requires an awareness and keen appreciation of American Indian traditions, customs, and socioeconomic needs and the ability at all times to meet and deal effectively in contacts with Indian health organizations which requires tact, courtesy, discretion, resourcefulness and good judgment in handling functions of a sensitive nature.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR preferred.
  • Experience with ADP preferred.
