About The Position

Paramount Extrusions is seeking an experienced and highly organized Human Resources Generalist to support and strengthen all aspects of our people operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys balancing employee relations, compliance, recruiting, training, culture, and operational HR support. The HR Generalist will serve as a key partner to leadership and employees while helping scale systems, processes, and employee development initiatives across the organization. This position requires professionalism, discretion, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of California employment law and HR best practices
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance functions
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and emotional intelligence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and policy implementation
  • Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate coordination, interviews, and hiring processes
  • Lead onboarding processes to ensure a strong employee experience and successful integration into the company
  • Maintain employee records, HRIS systems, compliance documentation, and personnel files
  • Help administer payroll support functions, timekeeping reviews, and employee attendance tracking
  • Support performance management initiatives, employee coaching, and leadership development efforts
  • Assist in implementing training programs, SOP communication, and workforce development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations including California labor requirements
  • Support workers compensation coordination, leave administration, and return-to-work processes
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen company culture, communication, engagement, and accountability
  • Assist with employee investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective action documentation when necessary
  • Help organize company meetings, employee recognition programs, engagement events, and internal communications
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies across HR and administrative processes
