Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, organizational development, human resources, economics, accounting, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
8+ years of Human Resources experience, including at least 4 years working with ERISA-governed benefits and retirement plans
Strong knowledge of qualified retirement plans and ERISA laws, with hands-on experience managing compliance testing and reporting processes such as Form 5500, ADP/ACP, and 409(p)
Proven ability to coach and mentor staff while collaborating across teams to develop strategies and creative solutions
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with exceptional attention to detail
HR certification required (SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR)

Nice To Haves

Retirement plan certifications such as CPSP, QKA, or QPA preferred

Responsibilities

Partner with the Director of People and Culture, coordinating with Accounting leadership, and external advisors to advise and support leadership and staff, specializing in benefits governed by ERISA.
Develop communications strategies and provide support to staff regarding benefits.
Manage reporting and oversee compliance for ERISA-governed benefits.
Lead audits, ensuring accurate reporting and strong documentation and support.
Serve as a trusted partner and leader in the firm for benefits-related needs.
Support staff, serving as a trusted partner on the People & Culture team, advising on policies and approaches that support the mission of the organization and the needs of the team.
Advise staff, create and co-lead trainings, and coach team members as a senior member of a People & Culture (HR) team that puts staff needs first.
