We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Generalist to support all HR functions across two manufacturing locations in Mt. Pleasant, PA and Washington, PA. This role will serve as a key partner to leadership and employees, supporting the full employee lifecycle including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, benefits, performance management, and compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to work independently, maintains strict confidentiality, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Experience processing payroll and managing the full employee lifecycle
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Strong employee relations, negotiation, and conflict management skills
  • Intermediate to advanced payroll processing knowledge
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with corporate HR and site leadership

Nice To Haves

  • ADP experience preferred
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support and oversee HR and payroll activities for assigned locations
  • Support the full employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and separations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll, benefits, and HR-related questions
  • Prepare and review biweekly payroll data for hourly and salaried employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data integrity
  • Assist with timekeeping review, corrections, attendance tracking, and resolution of payroll/timekeeping issues
  • Investigate employee relations concerns and advise management on appropriate resolutions
  • Educating employees and management on company policies, procedures, and employment law compliance
  • Administer employee benefit programs including medical, disability, and 401(k)
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and training/development programs
  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions as needed
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including orientation, safety training, and required documentation
  • Manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims
  • Prepare documentation for audits, EEO reporting, VETS-100, and other compliance requirements
  • Maintain HR reports, databases, project files, and schedules
  • Assist with company events and employee communications
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional departments to support business objectives
  • Perform additional duties and special projects assigned
