About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a meticulous and experienced Human Resources Generalist/Immigration Specialist to manage and oversee the immigration processes for hotel employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding employees through the necessary procedures to ensure successful immigration, providing relevant information and resources, and ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and submitted on behalf of the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying informed about the latest immigration laws and regulations to ensure full compliance. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a Human Resources role, with specific expertise in immigration processes and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of immigration laws and procedures, preferably with experience in relocating individuals to multiple countries.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in Human Resources, Law, International Relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS) and other relevant software.
  • Experience working in a hospitality environment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Stay current with changes and updates to immigration laws and regulations.
  • Meet with prospective and current employees to assess their immigration needs and provide clear guidance throughout the process.
  • Assist employees with the completion and timely submission of all required immigration documentation.
  • Verify the authenticity and accuracy of all documentation and supporting materials.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports related to employee immigration status.
  • Liaise with government agencies, legal representatives, and other stakeholders as necessary to facilitate the immigration process.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to employees during the immigration process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Assist with general HR duties as needed, including onboarding and employee relations.
