Supports the recruitment and personnel needs of Business Affairs | Construction, Facilities & Real Estate (BA | CFRE) departments. This role involves managing various aspects of the hiring process, investigating employment-related issues, facilitating onboarding, and providing support for benefits and retirement. The Human Resources Generalist II will create new hire letters, manage onboarding paperwork, create necessary system accounts and employee records, and ensure all new hire documentation is complete. They will maintain up-to-date knowledge of University policies, procedures, and relevant state and federal laws to ensure compliance in all HR processes. This position also serves as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, benefits, and retirement information, including assisting with enrollment and qualifying status changes. Additionally, the role involves processing Personnel Action Requests (PARs), managing HR office files, and assisting with employee separations and data entry. A criminal background check will be conducted for this position.
