About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist I will promote an inclusive, safety-first culture and support organizational initiatives. This role serves as a trusted HR resource, providing clear guidance and consistent support to employees and leaders. The Generalist will partner with HR teammates to support shared-services projects and continuous improvement efforts. Key responsibilities include talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates across multiple business units, partnering with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies, ensuring a positive candidate experience and compliance with employment laws, and tracking recruiting activity and sharing progress updates with leaders. Additionally, the role involves maintaining HR systems data accuracy and generating reports, assisting with policy compliance, training delivery, and HR process improvements, and staying current on HR trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or relevant field
  • 1+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Foundational understanding of Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and HR processes.
  • Basic understanding of benefits, payroll, recruiting, and compensation structures
  • Project management, time management and organization skills
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
