This role supports the Human Resources Department by coordinating daily activities, including onboarding, safety protocols, and employee relations. Responsibilities

  • Manage the onboarding process from offer letters to system setup for new hires.
  • Process, verify, and maintain personnel-related documentation, including staffing and recruitment.
  • Gather and set up new employee computer and phone equipment.
  • Set up new employee workstations with necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Set up new employee inboxes.
  • Provide IT support to employees under the direction of the Payroll and Benefits Specialist.
  • Perform data entry and filing of employee documentation.
  • Prepare new employees for their roles, including documentation and equipment setup.
  • Gather information from various HR systems and sources.
  • Schedule employees for classes and certifications, maintaining and updating records, and setting expiration reminders.
  • Coordinate the termination process, including checklists and asset recovery.
  • Coordinate job postings under the direction of the hiring manager.
  • Conduct phone screenings of applicants and resumes.
  • Perform respirator fit tests for new hires and annual renewals.
  • Send calendar invites to hiring managers for interviews, including candidate information.
  • Reconcile statements containing sensitive employee information.
  • Record detailed employee data, including personal information, earnings, absences, performance, and termination reasons.
  • Assist with internal and external investigations and reporting.
  • Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
  • Learn and operate new office technologies.
  • Compile and prepare reports and documents related to personnel activities.
  • Update and maintain HRIS systems, specifically BambooHR.
  • Enter employee credit card information and manage card releases.
  • Serve as the safety coordinator, attending safety meetings, setting agendas, distributing training materials, creating meeting minutes, and maintaining a safety binder.
  • Follow up with absent employees regarding missed safety items.
