About The Position

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing the highest level of support and partnership to the entire organization. You will serve as a strategic business partner on a variety of HR-related matters, such as employee relations, best practices, and performance management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 0-3 years of experience in HR
  • Basic knowledge of commonly used HR concepts, practices and procedures
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain discretion
  • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Responsibilities

  • Provide assistance to HR staff across all HR functions.
  • Assist managers in navigating the investigation process, including coordinating calls with employees, documenting, and summarizing key conversations and events.
  • Coordinate with managers and generalists on the HR Complaint Hotline, including call-backs, and escalation of calls to appropriate manager.
  • Partner with HR managers to coordinate and implement special projects, including new initiatives and employee relations campaigns.
  • Serve as backup for all HR Generalist tasks, including the background check, corrective action, workers compensation, employee relations, and termination processes.
  • Own several administrative duties within the HR department, such as reserving conference rooms for meetings, preparing FedEx and other mail packages, assisting HR managers with ad hoc administrative needs, or completing other duties as assigned.
