As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department across key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administration. You’ll be the first point of contact for many HR-related inquiries, helping to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Support the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment requirements (background and reference checks, offers).
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing paperwork, and helping to enhance the new hire experience.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
  • Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and procedures, and generate reports and metrics as needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries on HR-related policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating issues when appropriate.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events to support a positive workplace culture.
  • Stay current on labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR processes align with compliance requirements.
  • Support the HR team with training program coordination, tracking employee development, and other special projects as assigned.
