About The Position

Under general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Coordinator performs a variety of administrative duties relating to personnel functions and programs. This role fosters the ideals of Crossroads Continuum by setting an example for employees with adherence to the established philosophy, objectives, policies, and standards. The coordinator is expected to complete high-quality work with minimal errors, follow and be familiar with the policies in the Employee Handbook, maintain calm and objectivity in challenging situations, and possess excellent organizational & communication skills while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of related HR/Recruiting and admin experience.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Indeed, Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Must be detail-oriented and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • The verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse applicant group.
  • The written communication skills to produce succinct correspondence and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with professional staff.
  • Strong work ethic in a mission-based organization.
  • Strong computer proficiency: strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Dependable, punctual, caring, and compassionate.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains current HR files, including personnel, payroll, and benefits files.
  • Updates HRIS home page monthly with birthdays, anniversaries, special announcements, and other important information.
  • Maintains up to date I-9, CORI, and MVR records.
  • Records certificates, certifications, licensure paperwork and other paperwork and files in personnel files.
  • Records expiration dates for CPR and First Aid certifications in HRIS.
  • Tracks policy acknowledgments in HRIS.
  • Distributes, collects, and tracks all employee performance evaluation dates and scores in HRIS.
  • Performs administrative and clerical tasks such as scanning, printing, preparing emails, letters, arranging meetings and other support duties as assigned.
  • Manages all work injuries, informs worker’s compensation carrier, and keeps OSHA log updated.
  • Manages the Service Awards program for all staff.
  • Learns about recent graduates and sends congratulations email to all staff.
  • Assembles all new hire orientation packets.
  • Covers and assists in areas of recruitment and onboarding, including job fairs.
  • Assists with the collection of new hire documents.
  • Creates new hire file folders and files documents accordingly.
  • Assists with entry of new employee information into HRIS.
  • Maintains and updates employee information in HRIS.
  • Assists all staff with ADP issues or concerns.
  • Reviews all insurance invoices and ensures they match what is in ADP.
  • Follows lines of communication specified in the Organizational Chart.
  • Shares relevant information with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Asks questions when something is unknown or unclear.
  • Actively recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of others.
  • Accepts performance feedback gracefully.
  • Checks and responds to email daily.
  • Practices confidentiality and maintains a high standard of ethics.
  • Demonstrates punctuality and an appropriate attendance record.
  • Completes timecards according to protocol.
  • Meets assigned deadlines with minimal prompts.
  • Attends and actively participates in meetings.
  • Attends Crossroads Continuum events when able (e.g., Open House, Annual 5K Walk/Run).
