About The Position

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department to meet property and business objectives as well as supporting the operations department in some aspects of recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, benefit administration, and other duties as assigned. Coordinate, administer and report on various human resource programs, systems, and procedures to aid in the attraction, retention, and motivation of employees in accordance with policies, procedures and government laws and regulations. Recommends procedural/process changes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Recruitment or HR related experience
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent Written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Strong Attention to detail and organization skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (word, PowerPoint, excel, teams)
  • This position must have schedule flexibility to support operations evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Driving to job sites according to business needs will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all HR functions including employee relations, employee development and training, safety and risk management, compliance, and culture as needed.
  • Assist in the recruiting process by reviewing resumes, checking references and scheduling interviews between applicants and managers, processing background checks and drug tests (as applicable).
  • Prepare/monitor Payroll Action Forms & input/update ADP new hires, terms, transfers and manual check calculations to ensure accurate, up-to-date information is available for payroll and management.
  • Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork and ensure its accuracy.
  • Assist with associate recognition programs and meetings.
  • Assist with all benefit enrollment and administration including group health insurance, 401K, vacation, sick, leave of absence and jury duty pay. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, forms are accurate and administered in a timely manner.
  • With the guidance of their supervisor, ensure compliance with all company, state and federal laws.
  • Maintain employee records, files and the human resource office systems to compliance standards
