About The Position

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) delivers strategic and operational HR support to designated business units. Operating within our HR Business Partner model, you will partner closely with the Director, Human Resources and HR Centres of Expertise to deliver integrated people solutions for the Product organization. This role focuses on aligning people strategies with business goals, strengthening organizational effectiveness, and supporting a high-performance culture. You will be based in our Etobicoke office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting fast-paced, matrixed, or product-led environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • CHRP designation completed or in progress. Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
  • 5+ years of progressive human resources experience.
  • Experience with HRIS systems; prior experience with Workday is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of employment standards legislation across Canada.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

  • Previous experience in the payments industry considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic and operational HR partner to Product leaders, supporting day-to-day and longer-term people initiatives in alignment with business priorities.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with leaders to understand organizational needs and deliver effective workforce and talent solutions.
  • Contribute to organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change initiatives, including evolving operating models and transformations.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Expertise to support the development and implementation of HR programs, policies, and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including analysis, recommendations, and execution, ensuring alignment with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Support performance management and talent development processes, collaborating with Learning & Development to address skill gaps and capability needs.
  • Analyze HR data and trends to generate insights that inform leadership decision-making and workforce strategies.
  • Participate in business continuity planning and contribute as the HR representative on the Joint Health & Safety Committee, supporting workplace.
