The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF), providing dedicated HR support aligned to the Foundation’s mission, leadership, and workforce. This role sits within the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Human Resources team and is responsible for delivering high-impact HR solutions across talent management, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning. The HRBP will work closely with Foundation leadership to align people strategies with business priorities, support a high-performing and engaged workforce, and ensure consistency with broader U.S. Chamber HR policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HRBP.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex HR issues.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting mission-driven or nonprofit organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR partner for the USCCF.
  • Partner with Foundation leadership to develop and execute workforce and organizational strategies.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Lead performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, and annual reviews.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Advise leaders on compensation, promotions, and workforce planning decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies.
  • Support change management initiatives and organizational transitions.
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development).
