About The Position

Transit Team, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. This role is responsible for promoting diversity in hiring, mentoring managers on employee development, administering the performance management program, and advising leadership on hiring and terminations. The position also involves administering payroll, employee benefits, and FMLA, providing guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution, conducting investigations, and partnering with leadership on succession planning. The role requires weekly travel to Burnsville, Maple Grove, and Richfield, Minnesota.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years of progressive Human Resources experience.
  • College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Promote diversity awareness in hiring practices.
  • Mentor managers on employee development best practices.
  • Administer performance management program.
  • Advise leadership on hiring and terminations.
  • Administer payroll, employee benefits and FMLA.
  • Provide guidance on employee behavior and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints.
  • Partner with leadership to develop succession plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
