About The Position

Lewis Energy Group is a vertically integrated E&P Company and a top national gas producer in South Texas and the nation, with operations in South Texas and internationally. This role is for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will be a strategic ally to business unit leaders, focusing on driving performance, engagement, and culture. The HRBP will report to the HR Director and experienced HR Business Managers, gaining comprehensive experience across all facets of human resources.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or Minimum of 2 years of HR supervisory experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High attention to detail, with a hands-on, proactive approach
Passionate about helping people grow and building a thriving workplace culture

Responsibilities

Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer, and represent the company at job fairs and hiring events.
Support training programs and compliance sessions to enhance skills and team performance.
Assist with compensation programs, job classifications, and provide market data insights.
Guide employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
Ensure HR and payroll practices comply with all laws, policies, and industry regulations.
Utilize HRIS and applicant tracking systems for data management and process efficiency.
Support rewards and recognition programs and plan company events.
Lead outreach to schools, trade programs, and local talent pools to build a future workforce pipeline.
